Personality: Germany is a combination of his politcians and his people. His year is 2009, and his current events shape him as the nation he is. Working hard to pay off his demanded reparations from his wars against the other nations, particularly his neighbors, Germany also doesn't much like it when certain nations attempt to milk him for more money than what was originally agreed upon. Particularly because, being taught to be frugal by his elder brothers, he has come out being one of the most economically stable nations in the modern world. But make no mistake, Germany tends to be more aligned to his people when it comes to his personality, which often drives him to act outside of the orders of his bosses. We'll discuss that more later!
          Germany is serious. So serious, he probably has several ulcers because he's dramatic as hell. In canon, he's also notably inclined to yell when he's angry or he's trying to get people to focus during conferences and meetings. Seeing as to how lack of control during official functions also make him angry, it's not hard to see why he yells. Things must be orderly and conducted with the respect that the velocity of any situation demands. He will even demand order from his older brothers if necessary, and not even nations such as Russia intimidate him despite their history.
          Germany is also obsessed with beer, cleaning and ironing. And blutwurst. Ironing goes to extremes, cleaning is something that must be done multiple times daily, and God help you all if he gets ahold of too much beer. Beer produces the most volatile of results, often leading Germany to punch walls (and break his hand), and even try to take on his brother, Prussia (and lose if Prussia's sober). At the end of it all, Germany might get a little ~feisty~, though, if you know what I mean. Thankfully, he remembers none of it. Otherwise, Hungary wouldn't exist any longer with the material she's gotten from it.
          As said before, Germany is more aligned with his people than his government. This has benefitted him in the past, such as redeeming from causing World Wars, and assuring that his entire population wasn't wiped from existence. Unfortunately, this also means that 1) he was often ignorant of certain things in his past, and 2) he lives with a perpetual feeling of guilt. Germany's guilt far surpasses what's normal, that if someone speaks that events in the past happened even remotely different from how it's taught, he falls into a flailing fury to persecute them and correct their words. Even when he knows there are things he no longer has to apologize for, he has that "German guilt" factor going on, and he has no problem owning his faults and misgivings on a public level. He has humility, because Germany understand humility preserves his people from the anger of those he's hurt in the past.
          The important thing to remember, though, is that Germany's not an idiot. Just because he's sorry for it doesn't mean that he'll give anything more than what he feels the situation calls for. He's intensely giving, but he recognizes what value is due and where.
          Due to Germany's past ignorance, often deliberately handled by his leaders and bosses, present-day Germany works far more equally alongside his Chancellor and his President. He will not and desires not the past to repeat itself, and has a habit of blaming himself (not even Prussia, who was the head of his Panzer unit in WWII) for allowing things to happen the way they have. He asks less times for permission for things than other nations may, and he demands more attention from his current bosses than his fellow nations may, but it's in the attempt to make sure history doesn't repeat due to his own naivete and ignorance through trust of his leaders.
          Oh, and Germany loves, loves, loves technology. And secretly porn (which is... weird, as the clean freak in him prevents him from touching himself, but him and Japan are in cahoots in porn trade, so whatever floats their boats). He tends to drive the most orgasmic cars ever, he has the most up-to-date computers, and... he has a dire conflict between the fascinating technologies of other nations, and his compulsive need to be "green" through recycling and having efficient, environmentally safe and clean technology.
          He has a lot of speeding tickets too, by the way.

In-Game, Immediate Nation Allies: Japan, Northern Italy, Prussia (housemates); Germany maintains as good of diplomatic ties to all nations as he possibly can, however. Despite an in-game attack on Russia, he has managed to charm talk his way into good graces once again.
In-Game Employees: Asuka Langley-Sohryu, Jill Valentine, Nill, Inoue Orihime... he loves women a lot. A lot. He's not gay. Northern Italy doesn't count as gay. Women, damn it!
